Columbia

Columbia was a small New York City manufacturer that produced straight frame, flair-leg tables in the 1920’s and 1930’s style. The table is shown unrestored.

This table is in the basic body style as the BBC “Regina”, except the Columbia legs flair much larger. The Background wood is Walnut and the inlay on the legs and parquetry borders on the legs, blinds and ballbox are Tulipwood and Maple in a design more than reminiscent of the BBC Medalist.

The Columbia is a class of table known as the semi-jumbo frame, has 3-piece one-inch slate and a wooden track ball return gully system.
